Obviously, one of the problems with using the iPhone as a musical instrument is that it is extremely small; especially if you plan on using it as a piano. There are several pianos available for the iPhone, but most of them only have about an octave to work with… about 8 white keys across. Although MooCowMusic has a great piano app called Pianist that gives you access to the full 88 keys. A few days ago Hixtar released a new piano called PockeStraPiano (strange name), which looks to be really innovative. It’s the first piano that allows you to slide the keyboard while you are playing so that you may have access to more notes. It also is double-sided so that you can play with two hands!!! It comes with a full 88 key double piano, too. We will be sure to give PockeStraPiano a full review after we have played with it for a few days.
